New month, but same, old ‘road warrior’ Boston Celtics.

Jayson Tatum notched his second-straight double-double that keyed a commanding Celtics 117-103 decision over the Memphis Grizzlies for a ninth-straight win, Tuesday, April 1.

Tatum finished with 25 points and 14 rebounds as Boston overcame an early 11-point deficit to extend their road winning run to eight games.

Al Horford fired a season-high 26 markers while Derrick White produced a 14-point, 10-assist double-double for the Celtics (56-19) on the night he passed Isaiah Thomas for the most single-season threes made in franchise history.

With their 32nd dub on the road, this 2024-25 squad matched the 1972-73 and 1974-75 Boston teams for the most road victories in a single season in Celtics history.

Meanwhile, Ja Morant netted 26 points in a losing effort as the Grizzlies are now 0-2 under interim head coach Tuomas Iisalo. They also lost their third straight loss and  slipped to 44-31.

The Celtics returned home to host the Miami Heat (33-41) while the Grizzlies face a  critical game against the Golden State Warriors (43-31) next.
