After taking care of business against the Brooklyn Nets, six of the Dallas Mavericks’ final 10 games are on the road--which could decide their West Play-in fate.

With Anthony Davis finally back in the fold, Dallas’ West Play-in hopes might get some much-needed boost.

Davis returned after missing a lengthy absence in a 120-101 Mavericks road demolition of the Brooklyn Nets for back-to-back wins, Tuesday, March 25.

The premier two-way big man played for the first time since missing 18 games due to an adductor strain, finishing with 12 points and six rebounds in 27 minutes of play.

Naji Marshall logged 22 markers while Spencer Dinwiddie ended up with a 16-point, 12-assist double-double. Dallas broke the game wide open early with a 32-17 opening frame and never looked back.

With the win, the Mavericks improved to 35-37 to reclaim 10th place in the West — the final Play-in tournament spot — from the Phoenix Suns, who are set to play against the Milwaukee Bucks later.

Meanwhile, Nic Claxton poured 19 markers in a losing effort as the Nets suffered a fourth-straight loss and dropped to 23-49.

Dallas seeks a third-straight win when the Mavericks visit the New York Knicks (44-26) next while Brooklyn hosts Toronto Raptors (24-47).
