In a back-and-forth affair, Orlando hit 15 threes– none bigger than the last one– and outrebounded LA, 48-36.
A game that also saw 13 ties and 21 lead changes saw the Magic, playing without injured superstar Paolo Banchero for the 11th time, take the life out of the home team’s hearts with a cardiac finish.
Davis led the way for the Lakers with 39 markers while Lebron James finished with 31 markers, 10 rebounds and seven assists.

Dalton Knecht, who exploded for 37 points and nine threes in their last game, added 17 markers for LA, who absorbed their first home defeat of the season after a 7-0 start.
It was also a payback for the Magic against LA head coach JJ Reddick, the player they drafted in the 2006 Draft as the 11th overall pick.
Reddick spent seven-and-a-half seasons with the Magic, including playing in the 2009 Orlando team that reached the NBA Finals and lost against, interestingly, the Lakers.
Up next for LA are the Denver Nuggets while the Magic are set to face the Detroit Pistons.
