After landing 7-foot-2 Khaman Maluach on Day 1 of the 2025 NBA Draft and trading for 7-foot center Mark Williams, the Phoenix Suns didn’t stop building their frontcourt arsenal.

The Suns stayed aggressive on Day 2, securing another promising big man in Saint Joseph’s standout Rasheer Fleming with the no. 31 overall pick via a trade with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Fleming, a 6-foot-8 forward from Camden, New Jersey, developed steadily through three seasons at Saint Joseph’s. He broke out as a junior, averaging 14.7 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks.

He shot a career-best 39% from beyond the arc last season while serving as one of Saint Joseph’s top scoring options, and graded out well defensively across multiple coverages.

A versatile two-way contributor, Fleming earned Atlantic 10 First Team honors and was a standout at the Legends Classic as well as the Damian Lillard’s Formula Zero Elite Camp.

Now, the Suns boast a revamped and versatile frontcourt with Fleming, Maluach and Williams, while still featuring former All-Stars Devin Booker, Bradley Beal, and newly acquired Jalen Green.
