But in an All-Star Game set-up.
NBA legends and current "Inside the NBA" analysts Shaquille O'Neal, Charles Barkley, and Kenny Smith finalized their respective squads for the 2025 NBA All-Star Game in a televised draft, Friday, February 7.

James and Davis are back on the same squad for Team Shaq since the blockbuster trade that sent A.D to the Dallas Mavericks in exchange for Luka Doncic.

Joining the former Lakers duo are Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Jayson Tatum, Damian Lillard, James Harden and Jaylen Brown.

Barkley, whose team is composed of the brightest international superstars, opted to take three-time MVP Nikola Jokic as third pick behind James and Anthony Edwards.
Besides the Denver Nuggets star, Team Chuck will parade Giannis Antetokounmpo, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Victor Wembanyama, Pascal Siakam, Alperen Sengun, Karl-Anthony Towns and Donovan Mitchell.

Smith took Edwards second overall and landed Jalen Brunson, Jaren Jackson Jr., Jalen Williams, Darius Garland, Evan Mobley, Cade Cunningham, and Tyler Herro.

The three teams, joined by a fourth squad who will be the winner of the Rising Stars challenge headed by WNBA legend Candace Parker, will compete in a mini-tournament in a revamped format this year in San Francisco, California.
Earlier, the All-Star 2025 jerseys and court design were also unveiled.
