As the dust settled on the NBA trade deadline, Dejounte Murray displayed an impressive scoring night to make sure everyone knew he’s staying true to Atlanta.

Murray scored a game-high 34 points in his return, allowing the Hawks to claim a 122-113 win over the Houston Rockets at home Sunday (PHL).
Trae Young took a backseat with Murray driving the Hawks to victory, and yet he still scored 19 points with eight assists. Saddiq Bey supplemented the Atlanta offense with 24, and Jalen Johnson added another 21.

Houston's Jalen Green achieved his first career triple-double in the loss with 26 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists.
With the two top players exchanging buckets back and forth, Green released his energy and detonated against Murray for the left-handed slam.
The Rockets were without their leading scorer and rebounder in Alperen Sengun due to lower back pain. Jeff Green produced 19 points followed by Aaron Holiday with 18 from the bench for Houston.

A crucial three from Bey with under two minutes to play gave the Hawks a commanding 118-109 lead. Atlanta controlled the game from there and handed the Rockets their fourth straight loss.

Four straight points from Jalen Green helped Houston cut the defeicit to five with 1:09 remaining for a last ditch effort, but Murray’s free throws and a dunk from Bey capped the dub for the Hawks.
