King James? Chef Curry? Easy Money Sniper? That all stuck to the minds of every basketball fan out there.

With some of the best basketball players come some of the best nicknames, right?

But which player alias stood out the most?

That was the topic of conversation among the star-studded Team USA squad right before the Americans defend their crown in the Olympic Games Paris 2024.

LeBron James kicked things off by dismissing "The Brow" as the best nickname, despite Anthony Davis pointing to his iconic unibrow in the background.

Kevin Durant chimed in next, suggesting a tie between "King James" and "Chef Curry" as the top nicknames.

Derrick White had to agree. The champion guard added that he doesn't believe his nickname, "D White," qualifies since it's just his name shortened, and said the same applies to Devin Booker's "Book" tag.

 Good point.

Tyrese Haliburton supported White’s logic, challenging Booker that "Book" is not a nickname but rather his real name shortened.

Anthony Davis, Jrue Holiday and James all agreed that Miami Heat star Bam Adebayo had the best nickname, which was given by NBA veteran JaVale McGee during the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

"Last Olympics, JaVale McGee asked him what his real name is," Holiday recalled. "He was like, 'It's probably Bamonte or something.'

 And then it stuck.

Curry's vote went to Joel Embiid, the 2023 MVP, who he revealed texted the team group chat and pronounced himself as "The Process."

Several players also nominated Durant, although he has more than one monicker: Slim Reaper, Durantula, Easy Money Sniper, KD; you name it all.

But for the two time NBA champion and Finals MVP, , he's learned to appreciate the "Slim Reaper" nickname.

"Slim Reaper? I love that nickname," he said. "Before I didn't think I was worthy enough for it. I ain't do enough yet. But now?"

Whatever nickname stand out, Team USA could care less as the Americans only set their sight on what matters the most: another gold in Paris 2024.
