Mikal Bridges and the New York Knicks followed the Game 1 script perfectly.

Two more wins and the Eastern Conference Finals awaits.

Bridges delivered another big-time defensive play as the Knicks rallied past the Boston Celtics anew, 91-90, in Game 2 for a commanding 2-0 East semis lead, Thursday (PH time), May 8.

The 28-year-old intercepted Jayson Tatum’s last-minute pass to seal another 20-point New York comeback on the road. Back in the series opener, he stripped the ball away from Jaylen Brown that gave East no. 3 seed the dub.

Earlier, Jalen Brunson hits two clutch free throws to put the Knicks ahead at 91-90 that set-up Bridges’ clutch defensive effort anew.

Bridges scored all of his 14 points in the final frame, while Josh Hart topscored New York with 23 markers and Karl-Anthony Towns added a 21-point, 17-rebound double-double.

Game 3 is set on Monday (PH time), May 12 as the series shifts to the Big Apple and the Knicks aiming for a 3-0 lead.

Meanwhile, Jaylen Brown and Derrick White paced the champion Celtics with 20 markers apiece in another heartbreaking loss.

The Celtics found themselves in familiar territory after building another 20-point lead at  73-53 under three minutes left in the third frame.

But just like in their series opener, the Knicks stormed back and took a 89-86 lead after back-to-back Jalen Brunson buckets with 1:59 seconds remaining in regulation.
