Malik Monk stepped up when it mattered most, pouring 35 of his 39 points in the second half and in overtime for the Sacramento Kings to get the win vs the Minnesota Timberwolves, 124-120.
With no De'Aaron Fox in the ball game, Monk stepped up to carry the offensive load.
Domantas Sabonis had another double-double of 21 points and 15 rebounds, his 42nd consecutive one for the season.
Keegan Murray added 17.
Jaden McDaniels was the top scorer for the Timberwolves with 26 points and seven rebounds.
Karl-Anthony Towns added 19, while Rudy Gobert had a double-double of 16 points and 16 rebounds.
It was his free throws which tied the game and sent it to overtime, but the Kings outscored the Twolves 9-5 in extra time.
Anthony Edwards though, with 11 points on the board, had to leave due to personal reasons and didn't return for the second half.
The Kings retain their seventh spot in the West with a 34-25 record, while the Timberwolves remain the top seed at 42-18.
