There are four teams, but only one squad will earn a spot to compete against the NBA’s brightest stars in the 2025 All-Star Game.
The rosters for this year's Rising Stars Challenge are headlined by twins Amen and Ausar Thompson playing for the same team.
Three Warriors legends Tim Hardaway Sr., Chris Mullin, and Mitch Richmond will serve as honorary coaches. Jeremy Lin will take the lead for the G League team in the first main attraction of the 2025 NBA All-Star Weekend in San Francisco, California, Saturday, February 15.

Each NBA legend selected seven players from the pool of 21 NBA rookies and sophomores. Jeremy Lin will lead the team of seven players representing the NBA G League.
Joining the Thompson brothers under Richmond are Bilal Coulibaly, Bub Carrington, Scoot Henderson, Toumani Camara, and Yves Missi.
Edey was drafted to Team Mullin alongside Stephon Castle, Dalton Knecht, Jaylen Wells, Keyonte George, Trayce Jackson-Davis, and Ryan Dunn.
Zaccharie Risacher and Alex Sarr, the top two overall picks of the recent NBA Draft, will banner Team Hardaway together with Cason Wallace, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Gradey Dick, Anthony Black, and Tristan da Silva.
Meanwhile, McClung, Reed Sheppard, Bryce McGowens, JD Davison, Leonard Miller, Pat Spencer, and Dink Pate comprise the G League representatives under Lin.
This year, teams will compete in a mini-tournament where two semifinal games will be held. The first two teams to reach 40 points will advance in the championship game.
In the final round, the winner will be decided on which team will reach 25 points first where a golden opportunity awaits for a shot at upsetting an NBA All-Star squad.
