Ironically, both Luka and Davis are currently out recovering from injuries. AD has been out for the last two games due to an abdominal strain, while Doncic has been out of commission due to a calf injury.
Davis, acquired by the Lakers in 2019, is a 2020 NBA champion with the Lakers. He leads the Lakers this season in points, rebounds, blocks, and steals as he averages 25.7 points, 11.9 rebounds, 1.3 steals, and 2.1 blocks.
The Mavericks are set to be his third NBA team after the Lakers and the New Orleans Pelicans.
Meanwhile, Luka has only played 22 games this season but is averaging 28.1 points, 8.3 rebounds, 7.8 assists, and 2.0 steals.
Luka led the Mavericks to the NBA Finals last season.
