Even while pushing 40, LeBron James has added another title to his already GOAT-level resume.

LeBron has been named Most Valuable Player of the Olympic Games Paris 2024, with the exclusive award coming on the heels of another gold medal for Team USA.

James won Olympic MVP for the first time ever, and is actually only the third man to do so following Manu Ginobili in Athens 2004 and Kevin Durant in Tokyo 2020.

No Olympic MVPs were awarded in Beijing 2008, London 2012, and Rio 2016.

In Paris 2024, LeBron averaged 14.2 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 8.5 assists. James finished with 14 points, six rebounds, and 10 assists in the final win against France, which confirmed his third Olympic gold medal.

LeBron also won gold in Beijing 2008 and London 2012.

On top of his MVP award, LeBron also made more history in Paris 2024, becoming the first player to record multiple triple-doubles in Olympic basketball.

He achieved the feat by firing 16 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists against Serbia in the semifinals, anchoring Team USA’s comeback win from 17 points down.

James is joined by Steph Curry in the All-Star Five for Paris 2024. Also in the selection is Dennis Schroder (Germany), Nikola Jokic (Serbia), and Victor Wembanyama (France).
