The Los Angeles Lakers got their stars in LeBron James and Anthony Davis back and then snapped the New York Knicks’ nine-game winning streak, taking the 113-105 win at the Madison Square Garden Sunday (PHL).
James scored 24 points while AD, who missed the last two games, finished with 12 points and 18 big rebounds, and four blocks in his 36 minutes of play.

Austin Reaves continued his hot scoring streak and put up 22 points for the Lakers, while D’Angelo Russell and Taurean Prince had 16 apiece.
Jalen Brunson led the Knicks with 36 points and 10 assists, while Donte DiVincenzo followed him with 26 points. Josh Hart helped out with 12 points and 11 rebounds.
After an even first half, the Knicks took control in the third and led by as many as eight points.
But the Lakers turned in around in the fourth quarter, first some good scoring from Reaves and Prince, and then some suffocating defense anchored by Davis. Los Angeles held New York scoreless for a seven-minute stretch, which essentially won the game.
