Karl-Anthony Towns and Jalen Brunson played spoiler to the Pistons' first home playoff game in six years.

Towns and Brunson combined for 61 points, pacing the third-seeded Knicks to regain control of their East first round showdown via a narrow 118-116 Game 3 win over Detroit, Friday (PH time), April 25.

New York now holds a 2-1 lead with Game 4 scheduled on Monday, April 28.

KAT, who tallied eight rebounds and drilled four threes, played his best game of the series coming off a lackluster 10-point outing in a Game 2 loss back in MSG.

Brunson bucked a rough shooting performance to finish with 30 points for his third straight 30-point game of the playoffs.

Mikal Bridges and OG Anunoby added 22 and 20 points each while also doing damage on the defensive end, combining for five steals and three blocks.

Meanwhile, Cade Cunningham posted a double-double outing of 24 markers and 11 assists alongside seven rebounds in a losing effort.

Tim Hardaway Jr. also chipped in 24 points built on seven threes, while Dennis Schroder fired 18 off the bench.
