Kai Sotto worked out for the Sacramento Kings ahead of the 2022 NBA Draft on June 24 (PHT).
In a video posted by the Sacramento Kings on YouTube, the 7'3 Sotto participated in several drills with fellow NBA Draft applicants Jacob Gilyard, Fatts Russell, Yoan Makoundou, Karlo Matkovic, and Yannick Nzosa.
Sotto also shared a brief moment with Stockton Philippine basketball legend Jimmy Alapag, who is now an assistant coach for the Stockton Kings.
Alapag posted a photo on his Instagram account on Thursday, sharing his support for Sotto: "The entire country and I are rooting for you!! Keep working!!"
Sotto is hoping to become as the first homegrown Filipino player to get drafted in the NBA.
