Two-time champion Jrue Holiday is on the move again.

The Boston Celtics are reportedly trading Holiday to the Portland Trail Blazers in exchange for guard Anfernee Simons and two future second-round draft picks, according to NBA insider Shams Charania.

It marked the end of Holiday’s two-year stint in Boston, where he played a key role in the team’s 2024 NBA title run and earned All-Defensive Second Team honors.

The 34-year-old averaged 11.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 3.9 assists last season while shooting a career-best 42.9% from three-point range.

Meanwhile, Simons heads to Boston after averaging 19.3 points and 4.8 assists over 46 games last season with the Trail Blazers.

Selected 24th overall in the 2018 Draft, the 26-year-old brings additional firepower to head coach Joe Mazzulla’s three-point-heavy offensive system.

The move marks the first significant change to the Celtics’ roster this offseason as the team adjusts following Jayson Tatum’s season-ending Achilles injury suffered in the Eastern Conference semifinals.

Holiday, a 17-year veteran, has also played for Philadelphia, New Orleans and Milwaukee, where he won his first NBA title in 2021. He joined Boston in 2023 and helped deliver another championship in 2024.
