In a rematch of the 2023 Western Conference Finals, the Denver Nuggets once again took the upper hand against the Los Angeles Lakers, 114-106, led by the 20-point production from Jamal Murray, Michael Porter Jr., and Nikola Jokic.
Murray garnered 29 points and 11 assists, while MPJ followed up with 27 points and eight rebounds.

Jokic was nearing another triple-double of 24 points, 13 rebounds, and nine assists. He was also a defensive force today with a team-best three blocks.

The two-time MVP Jokic and his trusty point guard Murray made the Lakers pay in the last stretch of the fourth quarter, going on a 10-2 run to beat the home team wearing their Black Mamba jerseys.

This is Denver's seventh straight win against Los Angeles dating back to the 2022-23 regular season.

LeBron James scored 25 points, nine boards, and seven assists. However, he did miss crucial free throws and had a bad turnover that led to Denver closing them out.

Anthony Davis was the top scorer for the Lakers, as he tallied 32 points alongside nine boards. Austin Reaves tallied 15 points and dished out 10 assists.

It was a disappointing loss for the Los Angeles crowd, since it was on the same night that the franchise unveiled a statue to honor the Laker legend Kobe Bryant.

With the win, the Nuggets are currently tied with the Minnesota Timberwolves for the top seed in the Western Conference with a record of 36-16, while the Lakers (27-26) remain No. 9 in the West.
