Joker wins it at the buzzer (Denver Nuggets)
Winning is no joking matter for one Nikola Jokic.

The NBA’s reigning Finals Most Valuable Player pulled off an incredible trick Friday (PHL) time, stunning the Golden State Warriors on the road with a miracle three at the buzzer, completing a huge 130-127 Denver comeback win.

Tied with 3.6 seconds to go, Jokic got the final inbound near the opposite three-point line and put three dribbles on Kevon Looney, pulling up at 39 feet and banking the game-winning triple.

Jokic earlier tied the game at 127 with a baseline jumper, as the defending champion Nuggets came back despite trailing by 18, 105-123, with seven minutes left.

It was another offensive masterclass for Jokic, who finished with 34 points, 10 assists, and nine rebounds. Aaron Gordon added 30 for the champs, while Jamal Murray contributed 25 for a strong performance from the Nuggets stars.

Golden State got 30 from Steph Curry and 24 from Klay Thompson, but the up-and-down season continues for the Warriors.

Giannis wins epic first clash vs. Wemby

In the first game of the NBA’s national double-header, Giannis Antetokounmpo got his first look at fellow European phenom Victor Wembanyama.

In a true clash of titans, Giannis finished with a powerful 44 points and 14 rebounds, leading the Bucks to a 125-121 road win, spoiling Wembanyama’s 20th birthday in San Antonio.

The NBA’s top pick scored 27 points, including a booming block and three to tie the game at 121 with 1:09 to go.

But Antetokounmpo would come right back, driving for the go-ahead slam dunk.

Wembanyama later snuffed another Giannis dunk attempt, giving the Spurs one last chance for the tie, but Tre Jones missed an open corner three off a Wemby feed.
