With their backs against the wall, James Harden turned back the clock with a vintage performance early.

It was all the LA Clippers needed.

Harden scored 17 of his 28 points in the second frame, and the Clippers lived to fight another day thanks to a critical 111-105 win against the Nuggets in Game 6, Friday (PH time), May 2.

Game 7 will be held back in Denver on Sunday (PH time), May 4 with the winner earning the right to face the West no. 1 OKC Thunder in the semifinals.

After being limited to a combined 26 points in the last two games, Harden posted his second highest-scoring game in the series early on top of collecting eight dimes and five boards.

Kawhi Leonard also showed up big-time, putting up an all-around performance of 27 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists in minutes of play.

Norman Powell fired 11 of his 24 markers in a riveting third quarter where LA outscored Denver, 32-22, to take a 90-79 advantage entering the final canto.

Meanwhile, Nikola Jokic tallied a 25-7-8 statline in Denver’s first loss since Game 3.

Jamal Murray, who erupted for 43 markers in the previous game, caught fire early with 12 points and ended up with 21 markers, eight assists, and seven rebounds.

The Nuggets possessed a 4-4 all-time record in Game 7’s while the Clippers are 4-5.
