Not even an illness would stop Jamal Murray from playing and saving Denver’s season.

For the second consecutive round, the Nuggets will have to go the distance in their quest for another title.

An under-the-weather Murray fired 25 points as Denver stayed alive thanks to a 119-107 hard-fought triumph against the OKC Thunder in Game 6, Friday (PH time), May 16.

The do-or-die contest will be held on Monday (PH time), May 19 back in Oklahoma City with the winner earning the right to face the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Listed as questionable pre-game, Murray powered through and set the tone early with 11 first-quarter points. He finished with eight rebounds and seven assists in 39 minutes of play.

Three-time MVP Nikola Jokic produced flirted with a triple-double with 29 markers, 14 rebounds, and eight dimes while Christian Braun tallied 23 points.

Julian Strawther, who scored just 17 points throughout the playoffs, had eight of a key 12-2 closing run in the third to help Denver carry a 90-82 lead entering the fourth. He put up a solid performance of 15 markers — all in the second half — in just 20 minutes.

The Nuggets will now play in a second consecutive Game 7 this playoffs after going the distance earlier in their opening-round win against the LA Clippers.

Meanwhile, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander paced OKC with 32 points in a losing effort.

SGA had to deal with early foul trouble in the first half as the Thunder allowed 32 Nuggets points in the third frame that proved costly for the West top seed.

Denver is 5-4 all-time in Game 7’s while Oklahoma City is 6-5 including their Seattle Supersonic days.
