The biggest NBA Store in the country officially opened on Thursday at the second floor of the South Wing Entertainment Mall of SM Mall of Asia.
Over 530 sq. meters in size, the Titan-operated store contains an extensive range of official NBA apparel, as well as collectibles, caps, and sneakers from major brands, such as Nike, Mitchell & Ness, and New Era.
The space also provides people with a fun shopping experience thanks to its NBA 2K gaming corner and 2.5-meter LED screen that lies underneath a half-court. There's also a locally designed mural in the same area that's inspired by basketball’s influence in the Philippines where customers can take photos and selfies with. The Larry O’Brien Trophy, which is awarded to the NBA champions, is also on display for a limited time throughout May.
One unique area inside the NBA Store is the nostalgic lounge surrounded by retro jerseys and throwback apparel. It's a nice cozy spot where customers can sit back and reminisce about the past eras of NBA basketball.
NBA Asia Head of Global Merchandising Lesley Rulloda shared that there are continuous plans to bring in more merchandise, especially apparel that will cater to women and kids. She also said that they intend to host NBA events and special activities—and maybe even watch parties—at this particular NBA Store soon.
Truly a haven for NBA fans, the NBA Store at Mall of Asia is a must-visit spot for kids and adults alike.
