What began as a 24-nation quest has been whittled down to four—and the 2025 FIBA EuroBasket semifinals could not be more dramatic.

World champion Germany, Greece, Türkiye, and Finland have all punched their tickets to the Final Four, setting up storylines dripping with history, redemption and star power.

Deutschland, still flawless at 7-0, once again find themselves staring across at Finland.

The Germans routed Lauri Markkanen and Co., 91-61, in group play as Franz Wagner scored 23 points in 20 minutes in that meeting.

Germany went on to defeat Portugal in the Round of 16 before eliminating Luka Doncic and Slovenia in the quarterfinals.

Finland, on the other hand, rebounded from its earlier 30-point loss to Germany by upsetting three-time MVP Nikola Jokic and tournament favorite Serbia in the Round of 16.

Ranked no. 20 in the world, Finland then beat Georgia to reach its first EuroBasket semifinal.

On the other side, two proud basketball nations reawakened after long waits.

Türkiye is back in the semifinals for the first time in 24 years, thanks to Alperen Sengün’s historic triple-double against Poland.

At 23, he recorded 19 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists in that game to become the youngest player in EuroBasket history with a trip-dub.

Their reward? A showdown with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Greece.

The two-time NBA MVP powered Hellas past Lithuania with 29 points, reviving dreams of a first EuroBasket title since 2005.
