The NBA revealed its All-Tournament Team for the Emirates NBA Cup, highlighting standout performers from both Group Play and the Knockout Rounds. Unlike the league’s traditional All-NBA selections, the All-Tournament Team was chosen without regard to position by a panel of media members, based on player performance throughout the competition.
Leading the selections were Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo and Oklahoma City Thunder’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, both earning 20 votes after stellar campaigns. Antetokounmpo capped the tournament with a triple-double in the Bucks’ championship win, while Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder to the finals with consistent standout performances.
Damian Lillard, Antetokounmpo’s running mate in Milwaukee, earned 19 votes after being a key contributor to the Bucks’ unbeaten 7-0 run. Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young and Houston Rockets center Alperen Sengun rounded out the top five, securing their spots with strong showings in pivotal games.
Notable players receiving votes but missing the cut included Isaiah Hartenstein (Thunder) and Franz Wagner (Magic), who both garnered five votes, while Jalen Johnson (Hawks), Jalen Williams (Thunder), and several other stars, including Steph Curry, Luka Doncic, and Nikola Jokic, received smaller tallies.
The All-Tournament Team honors highlight the league’s top performers in what has been a groundbreaking first edition of the NBA’s midseason tournament, setting the stage for future competitions.
