In a must-win NBA Cup game, Karl-Anthony Towns and the New York Knicks left no stone unturned.

Towns led a balanced Knicks attack with a 23-point, 15-rebound double-double in a compelling romp over the Orlando Magic, 121-106. With the victory, New York booked a spot in the knockout quarterfinal round of the tournament.

Jalen Brunson added 20, Mikal Bridges chipped in 19 markers and Josh Hart tallied a triple-double with 11 markers, 13 boards and 10 dimes for New York. They wrapped up their group stage campaign with a spotless 4-0 win-loss record.

The Knicks joined the Milwaukee Bucks (4-0) and the Atlanta Hawks (3-1) as the group winners from the East.

Meanwhile, Franz Wagner paced the Magic with 30 points while his brother Mo finished with 17 more off the bench.

Orlando, who saw their six-game winning streak snapped upended the Boston Celtics for the lone East wildcard spot by virtue of a higher point differential.

New York will host the Hawks while Orlando face the Bucks in Milwaukee in a pair of do-or-die quarterfinal duels.
