Milwaukee point guard Damian Lillard continued his climb up the NBA’s charts on Wednesday, passing Kyle Korver for fifth all-time in 3-pointers made.
Lillard’s second 3-pointer with 8:06 left in the third quarter was the 2,451st of his career, moving him past Korver for fifth in NBA history.
Lillard finished with 21 points in the Bucks’ 140-126 win over the Pacers. The milestone was overshadowed by Giannis Antetokounmpo scoring a career-high 64 points to set the Bucks’ single-game franchise record.
The next player for Lillard to pass is Hall of Famer Reggie Miller, who made 2,560 3s in his 18-year career with the Indiana Pacers.
Lillard is averaging 3.0 3-pointers this season on 35.0% shooting, putting him on course to pass Miller at some point later this season.
