Stephen Curry fired 29 points and the hot-shooting Golden State Warriors bounced back quickly following a dominating 125-90 home rout of the Bucks to punctuate Milwaukee’s winning streak at six games.

Curry added eight rebounds and five dimes in another solid night that saw Golden State drill 19 three-pointers, including 12 treys in the first half. He put up six triples himself.

The two-time MVP already had 17 points in the first 24 minutes of play, as his fast start helped the Warriors build a 78-58 halftime lead.

Jonathan Kuminga added an all-around game 20 points, four rebounds, two steals, and three blocks and some high-flying dunks in the opening frame. Rookie Trayce Jackson-Davis, along with veterans Draymond Green and Klay Thompson also chipped in double-digit scoring outputs of 15, 12 and 10 points respectively. Giannis Antetokoumpo topscored the Bucks with 23 points, seven boards and six dimes, while Damian Lillard and Bobby Portis each had 20.

Brook Lopez scored an easy lay off an Antetokoumpo dime to cut the lead to single digits at six points, 83-77 with 5:33 left in the third. But that was the closest Milwaukee got after being outscored, 42-13, the rest of the way.

Golden State returned to the ninth spot in the West with a 33-28 win-loss slate. Meanwhile, the Bucks dropped to 41-22 but remained second in the East behind the league-leading Boston Celtics.
