Big wins for two of the NBA's legacy franchises as the Golden State Warriors and the Boston Celtics take care of separate opponents.

Legacy franchises highlighted the NBA’s eight game slate, with the Boston Celtics and the Golden State Warriors picking up huge wins.

For the Warriors in particular, future Hall of Fame member Steph Curry added a significant career milestone, now scoring over 25,000 career points.

Curry is the 26th player in NBA history to achieve that mark


Charlotte Hornets (15-48) def. Brooklyn Nets (21-42), 105-102: Miles Bridges has a double-double of 26 points and 12 rebounds as the Hornets snap an eight-game skid.


Houston Rockets (39-25) def. New Orleans Pelicans (17-47), 146-117: Rockets stay in the race for a top-4 seed in the West with the big win.


Washington Wizards (13-49) def. Toronto Raptors (21-43), 118-117: Jordan Poole goes for 34 points as the Wizards pick up a rare victory.

Chicago Bulls (26-38) def. Miami Heat (29-34), 114-109: A triple-double from Josh Giddey powers the Bulls past the Heat.


Golden State Warriors (36-28) def. Detroit Pistons (35-29), 115-110: Steph Curry scores 32 points, pushing his career total past 25,000 as the Warriors stay hot.


Boston Celtics (46-18) def. Los Angeles Lakers (40-22), 111-101: The Boston Celtics avenge their earlier loss to the Lakers with a sensational home performance.
