Coast-to-Coast: Sacramento Kings back in the hunt

A full slate of NBA games with 18 teams in action forces a mild reset in the standings. No team has an active winning streak longer than seven games, but a few teams that are previously down are once again starting to get a move on up.


LIGHT THE BEAM

Denver Nuggets (23-15) def. Dallas Mavericks (22-17), 112-101: Nuggets come back from 19 down to complete the 30-point turnaround on the Mavericks for a third-straight win.


New York Knicks (26-14) def. Milwaukee Bucks (20-17), 140-106: Jalen Brunson fires 44 points to lead the Knicks in a big win over the Bucks.


Sacramento Kings (20-19) def. Chicago Bulls (18-21), 124-119: Domantas Sabonis tallies 22-15-8 as the Kings win a seventh-straight game in beating the Bulls.


Oklahoma City Thunder (32-6) def. Washington Wizards (6-31), 136-95: The Thunder crush the NBA-worst Wizards despite a poor shooting game from top MVP candidate Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.


Orlando Magic (23-18) def. Philadelphia 76ers (15-22), 104-99: Paolo Banchero goes for 20-8-6 as the Magic score a bounce-back win over the 76ers.


Indiana Pacers (22-18) def. Cleveland Cavaliers (33-5), 108-93: The Pacers snap the Cavaliers’ 12-game winning streak, extending their own winning run to six games.


Boston Celtics (28-11) def. New Orleans Pelicans (8-32), 120-119: Celtics survive the Pelicans with a narrow decision in Boston.


Utah Jazz (10-28) def. Brooklyn Nets (13-26), 112-111: The Jazz escape the Nets in overtime thanks to a late layup from Isaiah Collier.


Phoenix Suns (19-19) def. Charlotte Hornets (8-28), 120-113: Devin Booker drops 30 as the Suns make it three in a row with a win over Charlotte.
