Ben Simmons is now officially a Los Angeles Clipper.
This is after the LA team announced that they have signed Simmons after his contract buyout from the Brooklyn Nets.

The former top overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft will now play in a third team in his career. This is the first time he will join a Western Conference squad that features James Harden, Kawhi Leonard, and Norman Powell.
During his tenure with Nets, Simmons appeared in just 90 games and averaged 6.5 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game.
These numbers marked a decline from his earlier performance with the Philadelphia 76ers, where he averaged 15.9 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 7.7 assists over 275 games en route to winning the 2017 Rookie of the Year and being named to three All-Stars, two All-Defensive honors, and an All-NBA Third Team selection in 2020.
The Clippers are currently in the seventh spot in the West behind a 29-23 record and the addition of Simmons, if he stays healthy, can be a key boost for the playoff chase this season.
