Utah Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson will represent the Philippines in the FIBA World Cup 2023 Asian Qualifiers.

Utah Jazz star Jordan Clarkson is suiting up for the Philippines once again.

The Filipino-American arrived in Manila on Friday to begin training with Gilas Pilipinas Men, who are in the midst of their preparations for the upcoming fourth window of the FIBA World Cup 2023 Asian Qualifiers.

Clarkson is expected to give Gilas, which holds a 2-2 record in the qualifiers, a huge boost as a naturalized player. The men's national team will play Lebanon in Beirut on Aug. 26 before hosting Saudi Arabia at the Mall of Asia Arena on Aug. 29.

Clarkson had previously represented the Philippines in the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta, Indonesia. During that stint, he averaged 26.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and 1.0 steals, while shooting 46 percent from the field.
