Denver used a balanced attack to hold off Portand Sunday (PHL), picking up 114-111 victory over the Trail Blazers.
The win pushed the defending champions to 50 wins, the first team to do so in the West. At 50-21, the Nuggets are virtually tied with the idle Oklahoma City Thunder for first.
Seven players scored in double figures for Denver, led by 23 points from Reggie Jackson.

The champs missed two-time MVP Nikola Jokic, who sat out due to lower back pain and left hip inflammation. Jamal Murray also missed the game due to an ankle sprain.
Still, the Nuggets hardly felt the absence of their stars, winning their third straight game.
Duop Reath finished with 24 points to lead Portland, while Scoot Henderson added another 22 for the Trail Blazers.
Portland lost its sixth straight for a 19-52 record, 14th in the West.
