Celtics regain control with dominant Game 3 win over Heat

After a disappointing Game 2 effort in Boston, the top-ranked Celtics made sure to quickly bounce back.

 

Boston issued a strong Game 3 answer to the MIami Heat Sunday (PHL), takin the wire-to-wire 104-84 win for a 2-1 series lead.

 

The Celtics dropped 42 points in a torrid second quarter, taking all hope of another Heat upset.

 

Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown scored 22 apiece for the Celtics as Boston took homecourt advantage right back.

 

 

 

Kristaps Porzingis added 18 points for Boston, while Derrick White was good for 16.

 

Bam Adebayo led the way for the Heat with 20 points, but Miami is still missing Jimmy Butler due to injury.

 

In the other East round 1 game, the Orlando Magic have tied their series against the Cleveland Cavaliers at two wins each.

 

Franz Wagner had a strong 34 points and 13 rebounds to lead Orlando to a 112-89 win.

 

 

 

Home teams have won all games in this series, all by more than 10 points. Game 5 will be back in Cleveland.

 

Jarrett Allen was the high man for the Cavaliers with 21 points in the loss.
