Pritchard received 82 of 100 first-place votes, 13 second-place votes, and five third-place votes for a total of 454 points to topple Beasley (279 points) and Jerome (81 points).
The 27-year-old guard became the fourth Boston player to win the award after Kevin McHale (1984, 1985), Bill Walton (1986), and Malcolm Brogdon (2023).
Pritchard submitted career-highs of 14.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.5 assists in 28.4 minutes in 80 games this season, helping the defending champion Celtics finish as the second seed in the East behind a 61-21 win-loss record.
The fifth-year player scored the most points off the bench this season with 1,079, including a 43-point, 10-three explosion in Boston’s 128-118 win over the Portland Trail Blazers.
Pritchard also set the NBA single-season record for most 3-pointers off the bench with 246, on top of scoring at least 20 points in 24 games and 22 games with at least five threes made in the regular season.
The Celtics are currently leading 1-0 in their East opening round showdown with the seventh-seed Orlando Magic.
