Chicago Bulls guard Lonzo Ball will miss Monday’s (PHT) game against the Indiana Pacers because he has entered the NBA’s Health and Safety Protocols, per the team.
Protocols require players to be sidelined at least 10 days or record two negative COVID-19 tests in a 24-hour period before they can resume basketball activities.
The Bulls have been hit hard by COVID-19 protocols as Ball becomes the 13th player on the team to enter protocols this month. The NBA postponed three games in December due to Chicago players entering protocols.
Co-stars Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan have since cleared protocols, along with Ayo Dosunmu, Matt Thomas, Alize Johnson, Devon Dotson, Coby White and Javonte Green.
Ball joins teammates Tony Bradley, Alfonzo McKinnie and coach Billy Donovan on Health and Safety Protocols.
