In a stark contrast of what transpired in Games 1 and 2, the LA Clippers put the pedal to the metal this time.

Kawhi Leonard posted a 21-point, 11-rebound double-double and the hot-shooting Clippers ran away with a commanding 117-83 romp against the Denver Nuggets in Game 3, Friday (PH time), April 25.

With a second-straight dub, LA seized the upperhand in the series with a 2-1 advantage. Game 4 is set on Sunday, April 27.

James Harden and Norman Powell scored 20 points each in the Clippers’ first playoff win in the Intuit Dome. Ivica Zubac provided 19 markers of his own.

LA hit nine threes alone in the opening frame and ended up with 18 overall. They leaned on a riveting 23-2 run to turn a 26-19 deficit into a 42-28 cushion early in the second canto.

On the other hand, Nikola Jokic tallied his 20th career-playoff triple-double after finishing with 23 markers, 13 boards, and 13 dimes.

Jamal Murray also supplied 23 points, but the Nuggets shot just a dismal 7-for-26 from deep and committed 16 turnovers.
