The Los Angeles Lakers grabbed their third straight win after holding off the Charlotte Hornets, 124-118, at the Spectrum Center on Tuesday (PHL time).
After grabbing huge wins over the Boston Celtics and the New York Knicks on the road, the Lakers built on that momentum to take control of their match against the Hornets.
The Purple and Gold led by as much as 21 points, overpowering Charlotte on the glass and in the paint.
The Hornets found their groove late in the fourth quarter, however, the lead that the Lakers built proved to be too much for them to come back from. Anthony Davis recorded an impressive triple-double feat with 26 points, 15 rebounds, and 11 rebounds.

D’Angelo Russell, meanwhile, added 28 points, four rebounds, and six assists, while LeBron James had 26 points, four rebounds, and seven assists.
The trio would provide the clutch baskets for the Lakers to avoid any upset from the young Hornets squad, who were without star Lamelo Ball due to a right ankle injury.
These clutch passes from D’angelo Russell to AD AND LeBron were huge.
