Antetokounmpo, Jokic maintain lead in second 2025 NBA All-Star fan returns

Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum joined Giannis Antetokounmpo and Nikola Jokic as the only players to crack the two-million mark in the 2025 NBA All-Star voting.

No major changes at the top. 

Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo and three-time MVP Nikola Jokic continued to pace the Eastern and Western Conferences respectively in the second wave of fan returns for the 2025 NBA All-Star Game next month. 

Antetokounmpo (2,721,339) and Jokic (2,277,723) led all vote-getters for the second week in a row. Celtics star Jayson Tatum (2,224,086) joined them as the only players to breach the two-million mark. 

 

Joining Giannis and JT to round up the East frontcourt is New York Knicks big man Karl-Anthony Towns with 1,872,228 votes. 

Still leading in the guard position in both conferences are OKC Thunder’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (1,811,050) and Charlotte Hornets’ LaMelo Ball (1,490,227). 

Golden State Warriors' Stephen Curry (1,369,365) has overtaken Dallas Mavericks' Luka Doncic (1,344,205) for the second spot in the West backcourt. 

Phoenix Suns' Kevin Durant (1,983,680) and Los Angeles Lakers' LeBron James (1,981,529) are neck-and-neck for the second spot behind Jokic in the frontcourt with only about 2,000 votes separating the two. 

Fan votes are weighted 50% in determining who will be the All-Star starters while 25% each will be given to current players and media members respectively. Another round of the “3-for-1 Day” meaning each vote casted will triple its value will be held tomorrow with the next fan voting update to be announced on Friday, January 17.

The 2025 All-Star Weekend will be held on February 14-16 at San Francisco, California.
