Yes, #2KDay has finally arrived.
NBA 2K24, the latest release from the NBA 2K series, officially launched in the country on Friday at the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City.
Filipino hoop fans and gamers can now get their hands on NBA 2K24, which features the late Kobe Bryant on the cover, during the the game's 3-day launch at the SM Mall of Asia Atrium.
Activities during the weekend event include 1v1 and 3v3 showdowns with special guests, Q&A sessions, custom sneaker design challenges, and NBA 2K24 exhibition games. People can also try the game themselves at the PS5 gaming station.
In NBA 2K24, several new features were introduced to the different game modes, such as MyNBA, MyCareer, and The W. But one of the game's highlights is Mamba Moments, where gamers can recreate some of Kobe's most memorable moments from his 20-year career with the Los Angeles Lakers.
The WNBA edition of NBA 2K24, meanwhile, has New York Liberty star Sabrina Ionescu on the cover.
Both the Kobe Bryant edition and Black Mamba edition of NBA 2K24 are available at select video gaming shops and online via NBAStore.com.ph for P3,890 and P5,590, respectively, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch platforms.
