Sacramento Kings guard De’Aaron Fox has a fractured left index finger and is expected to be doubtful to play in Game 5 against the Golden State Warriors, according to reports from Shams Charania of The Athletic and Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
According to Wojnarowski, there remains hope Fox will be able to play in Game 5 this Wednesday in Sacramento (10 p.m. ET, TNT).
Fox reportedly suffered the injury during the fourth quarter of Game 4, in which Sacramento lost 126-125 to even the first-round series at 2-2. Fox tallied 38 points, nine rebounds and five assists in the loss.
The Kings posted a record of 4-5 without Fox this season as the All-Star guard averaged 25.0 points, 6.1 assists and 4.2 rebounds over 73 regular-season games.
