Cleveland's young guard plays just 12 minutes against the Knicks before being forced to leave the game.

Collin Sexton is averaging 16.8 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.9 assists this season.

Cleveland Cavaliers guard Collin Sexton was forced to leave Monday’s (PHT) game against the New York Knicks with a left knee injury, according to Joe Gabriele of Cavs.com.


Sexton, who had 8 points and 4 assists in 12 minutes before leaving, was flexing out his knee with team trainer during the first quarter before checking back in. After one play in the second quarter, Sexton was forced to leave the game a few minutes before halftime and didn’t return.

The 22-year-old, who is an integral part of the Cavaliers’ emerging young core, averaged 24.3 points and 4.4 assists last season.
